The ERA project has reached a significant milestone with the integration of a new data center into its research infrastructure. This addition strengthens our capacity to conduct real-world experiments in line with the project’s Objective O5 — Validation and Testing — enabling us to validate AI-driven energy optimization solutions in live environments rather than purely simulated ones.

The new node will serve as a dedicated testbed for profiling containerized workloads, monitoring energy consumption, and evaluating the scheduling and resource allocation models being developed across the ERA work packages.

This expansion reflects the commitment of the ERA partners — Fides Consulting, Secure Network, Time Vision, and LUISS — to building a robust, real-world validation environment as the project moves into its advanced experimental phases.
